<br />VIII-B-1 <br /> <br />Memo <br /> <br />To: <br /> <br />Mayor Werner and City Council <br /> <br />From: <br /> <br />John Hinzman, Planning Director <br /> <br />Date: <br /> <br />April 5, 2004 <br /> <br />Resolution - SCHOOLHOUSE SQUARE 3rd ADDITION - Preliminary <br />Plat and Final Plat #2004-11 - Vermillion at 10th Street - Schoolhouse <br />Partners. <br /> <br />Subject: <br /> <br />REQUEST <br /> <br />Schoolhouse Partners seeks Preliminary and Final Plat approval of SCHOOLHOUSE <br />SQUARE 3rd ADDITION, consisting of one multi~le family lot and two outlots for future <br />development. The site is located northeast of 10 h and Vermillion Streets. <br /> <br />Applications for Special Use Permit for building height and Site Plan for a 57 unit <br />condominium building have been submitted in conjunction with the application. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br /> <br />The Planning Commission voted 5-0 to recommend approval at the March 8, 2004 meeting <br />with limited discussion. No one from the public spoke for or against the plat. <br /> <br />Park Dedication <br />Since the Planning Commission Meeting, the Natural Resources and Recreation <br />Commission has met with the applicant to discuss park land dedication. The NRRC <br />recommends cash in lieu of land be paid for the plat, and they would prefer the 8th Street <br />greenspace to be developed as a passive amenity (rather than a tot lot) for the future <br />benefit of the condominium owners and surrounding residents. . <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />.
