Mayor Werner opened the Public Hearing at 7:49 p.m. to 1994 -1 <br />consider these improvements. The Mayor asked if anyone wished to IMPROVEMENT <br />speak on the issue, no one wished to do so. The Mayor closed the PROJECTS <br />public hearing at 7.49 p.m. <br />Moved by Councilmember Hicks, seconded by Councibmember RESOLUTION <br />Simac 1 to adopt Resolution No. 22 -94 ordering the improvements and NO. -94 <br />preparation of fmal plans and specifications for improvements of PROJECT NO. 1994 -1 <br />pedestrian ramps and municipal state aid streets, Project 19944 <br />7 Ayes; Nays, None. Copy of resolution on file. <br />Project 1994 - - 15th Street and General Sieben Drive PU LIC HLARING- <br />Im rovement . Mayor Werner opened the Public Hearing at 1994 -2 <br />7:49 p.m. to consider these improvements. The Mayor asked if anyone IMPROVEMENT <br />wished to spear on the issue, and Dennis Christianson of 1498 Pringle PROJECTS <br />Court expressed concern on the assessments on 4 parcels on Pringle Court. <br />He asked that special consideration be given in assessing these, due <br />to the high cost of the project and also to not fully benef ittin.g from' <br />this improvement. Mayor Werner asked if anyone else wished to spear on <br />the issue, no one wished to do so. The Mayor closed the pudic hearing <br />at 7:51 p.m. <br />Moved by Councilmember Johnson, seconded by Council- RESOLUTION <br />member Simacel to adopt Resolution 23-94 ordering the improvement NO. 23 -94 <br />and preparation of final plans and specifications for improvements of PROJECT N . 1994-2 <br />15th Street and General Sieben Drive, Project 1994 - . <br />Moved by Councilmember Trautma n, seconded by Councilmember <br />Hick to amend the motion directing Staff to review these 4 parcels in <br />Parxnle Court for possible special consideration on the assessment of these <br />properties prior to the assessment hearing, due to the unusual circumstances. <br />7 Ayes; Nays, None. <br />The vote was then talen on the original notion. 7 Ayes; <br />Nays, lone. Street Improvements. Mayor <br />Werner opened the Public Hearin at 8:01 p.m. to consider these <br />improvements. The Mayor asked if anyone wished to speak on the <br />issue and some concerns were ad dressed from the audience. One was <br />a concern on the drainage at the corner of 5th & vermillion, Which the <br />City Engineer responded to. A. question arose regarding the possibility <br />of monies available for lowering of assessments. Public Work <br />Director Montgomery stated there will be approximately $150,000 <br />available particularly for low and moderate income families. 'The <br />Mayor asked if anyone else wished to spear on the issue, no one <br />wished to do so. The Mayor dosed the public hearing at 8:05 p.m. <br />PT.
