<br />~ <br /> <br />Hastings, Minnesota <br />April 19, 1982 <br /> <br />! . <br /> <br />121 <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Hastings, Minnesota met in a regular <br />meeting on Monday, April 19, 1982 at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the <br />City Hall. <br /> <br />Members present: Councilmen Legler, Kulzer, Trautmann, Pike, Karnick, <br />Trutna, Bond and Mayor Stoffel. <br /> <br />Members absent: Councilman Klimek. <br /> <br />The Mayor called for additions or corrections to the minutes of the <br />m~eting of AprilS, _1982 and hearing none declared the minutes approved as presented. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Trutna, seconded by Councilman 1982 PETITIONED <br />Kulzer to authorize the advertisement for bids for surfacing-impro- IMPROVEMENTS <br />vements for State Street from - 2nd to 3rd Streets. Ayes, 7; <br />Nayes, none. <br /> <br />The above referenced 1982 Petitioned Improvements <br />have been authorized for advertisements for bids, with a bid <br />opening date of 5-28-82 with Council consideration at the <br />J> <br />June 7, 1982 regular City Council Meeting. -Resolution on file.- <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Legler, seconded by Councilman <br />Trutna to approve the Home Occupation Permit for an office for a <br />Recycling Collection Business at 305 West 5th Street - Stan <br />Langenfeld. The approval is based and conditioned upon the <br />Planning Commission's recommendations. Ayes, 7; Nayes, none. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Legler, seconded by Councilman <br />Kulzer to approve the Home Occupation Permit for a Saw Sharpening <br />Business in the basement of the home at 905 Ramsey Street - <br />Jerome Marzen. Ayes, 7; Nayes, none. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Legler, seconded by Councilman <br />Kulzer to approve the 1982 Rivertown Days Steering Committee <br />Request for: <br /> <br />1) Closure to vehicle traffic of that portion of Tenth <br />Street between Highway 55 and Walnut Street, from <br />Saturday, July 24th, 8:00 A.M. through Sunday, <br />July 25th, 8:00 P.M. <br /> <br />2) Closure to vehicle traffic of East Second Street <br />between Spring Street and just south of Tyler <br />Street, between 9:45 A.M and 11:00 A.M.
