<br />4) Barricade, no parking signs, and flashing caution
<br />lights positioned along Highway 55 prohibiting parking
<br />on both sides of Highway 55 from Spring Street to Maple
<br />Street, during the time period of Saturday, July 24,
<br />6:00 A.M. through Sunday, July 25, 8:00 P.M. We
<br />understand that speed limits cannot be reduced in this
<br />area because of it being a State highway; these
<br />restrictions will hopefully reduce risk of accident.

<br />Staff has also been authorized to cooperate with the Rivertown Days
<br />Steering Committee for City assistance in this project. Ayes, 7;

<br />Moved by Councilman Legler, seconded by Councilman Trutna
<br />to pass a resolution naming the City Administrator also as the
<br />City Clerk effective May 15, 1982. Resolution on file. Ayes, 7;

<br />to accept the resignation of the Administrative Secretary, 'Bonnie
<br />Dahl effective 4-21-82.

<br />to set the Public Hearing dates for the Cable T.V. applicant present-
<br />ations for June 23rd at 7:00 P.M. in the City Hall Council Chambers
<br />and June 24, 1982 at 7:00 P.M. in the City Hall Council Chambers.
<br />The order of presentation will be per the Cable Committees recommend-
<br />ation as presented in the April 12, 1982 Cable Minutes. Ayes, 7;

<br />to pass a resolution for the City of Hastings to provide rescue
<br />service for Washington County. Resolution on file. Ayes, 7; Nayes,

<br />to accept the resignation of Arnold Endres effective April 10, 1982
<br />as a volunteer firefighter. The Council expresses its thanks to
<br />Mr. Endres for his years of service. Ayes, 7; Nayes, none.

<br />Moved by Councilman Kulzer, seconded by Councilman Pike
<br />to have the City pay only the commercial portion of the Dog Catcher's
<br />telephone bill. An adjustment will be made in future bills on bver-
<br />payments to the Dog Catcher for the months of December, January,
<br />February and March. Ayes. 7; Nayes, none.

<br />to pass a resolution requesting Dakota County Highway Department to
<br />conduct a review of the speed limits on County Road #91 and set the
<br />speed limit at 35 miles per hour. Ayes, 7; Nayes, none. Resolution

<br />Kulzer to appoint Lisa Youngren as the Administrative Secretary
<br />effective April 20, 1982. Ayes, 7; Nayes, none.

<br />,to have the Administrative Committee look into the fee charges of
<br />the On-Sale Liquor License. Ayes, 7; Nayes, none.
