This policy would include 1.) Prior building Dept. certification to sidewalks needing repair or replacement, 2.) The property owner gets a prior estimated cost on which the City will base 50% City participation paid after satisfactory completion of sidew~lk reconstruction 3.) The work is accomplished by a licensed contractor, 4.) The property owner gets prior approval by the Cit~ and the work is done according ~o the City Engineer's specifications. Moved by Councilman Trautmann, seconded by Councilman Kulzer to amend the main motion on the sidewalk construction and direct staff to draft a resolution for the Council to act upon at the October 4, 1982 regular City Council meeting. Moved by Councilman Kulzer, seconded by Councilman Bond to adopt Resolution No. 55-82 rescheduling the Public Hearing for the 1982 Street Improvements from the October 4, 1982 regular City Council meeting to the October 18, 1982 regular City Council meeting.
