<br />The City Council of the City of Hastings, Minnesota met in a regular
<br />meeting on Monday, January 5, 1981 at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Olarrbers of
<br />the City Hall.
<br />
<br />Members present: CounciJroen Trautmann, Trutna, Kulzer, Stoffel,
<br />Shannon, Karnick, Legler, and Mayor Petersen. .
<br />
<br />Members absent: Counci1man Collins.
<br />
<br />The Mayor called for additions or corrections to the minutes of the
<br />meeting of December 15, 1980 and hearing none approved the minutes as read.
<br />
<br />The Mayor called for additions or corrections to the minutes of the
<br />meeting of December 30, 1980 and hearing none declared the minutes approved.
<br />
<br />Moved by Counci1man Shannon, seconded by Counci1man
<br />Stoffel to pass the 2nd reading of the amendment to the Sign
<br />Ordinance, as indicated in the Planner's melID of December 5th
<br />and lOth. Ayes, 7; Nayes, none.

<br />Moved by Councilman Trautmann, seconded by Counci1.man
<br />'rrutna to approve a special use permit for Donald Olson, to
<br />construct a two family dwelling in an R-2 Zoning District,
<br />subject to the stru~ture meeting all other wning requirements.

<br />'Stoffel to approve a variance to allow a lot size of 8,712 sq.
<br />feet whereas the wning ordinance would require a lot size of
