<br />OPERATION OF VEHICULAR AND PEDES TRIAL TRAFFIC WITHIN THE CITY OF HASTINGS"
<br />as follows: Ayes, all; Nays, none

<br />Section 35. Alleys.
<br />
<br />No person shall park a vehicle within an alley in such a manner
<br />or under such cpnditions as to leave available less than 10 feet of the
<br />width of the alley traveling surface for free movement of vehicular
<br />traffic, except that persons loading or unloading merchandise to stores
<br />or other business establishments and iike facilities may, if necessary
<br />to such loading or unloading, occupy a greater portion of. the alley so Il
<br />long as the operator of the vehicle is in .the immediate presence of the ! .
<br />vehicle to allow moving of the vehicle when necessary for passage of l~
<br />other vehicles using the alley.

<br />Moved by Councilman Fischer, seconded by, Councilman Driscoll
<br />to approve the following bookkeeping transactions: Ayes, all; Nays,
<br />none.

<br />1. That on November 17, 1969 the Council deleted from the 1969
<br />Assessment Rolls the assessment to James Tix, Lot 1, Block 1, Oak Park
<br />Addition for Street Grading and Gravel Base Construction, in the amount
<br />of $1,219.60, and that funds to cover this deletion will not have to be
<br />provided for in the I.B. 1969 Sinking Fund, as there have been substantial
<br />interest earnings in that fund that will adequately provide.
<br />
<br />2. That the City share of $5,951.97 cost of sidewalk replace-
<br />ment at 2nd & Ramsey and, 3rd & Sibley, completed under the 1969 Construc-
<br />tion Program and paid for out of the I.B. 1969 Construction Fund, be
<br />charged to the Sidewalk & Emergency Fund.

<br />3.. That the following engineer,costs paid to Toltz, King, Duvall,
<br />Anderson & Asso. out of the 1969 Construction Fund, for projects that were
<br />dropped from the program, be charged to the City, Engineering Department:
<br />

<br />5. That a liability be set against the Parks Sinking Fund of
<br />$26,689.17 for the balance of the cost of the Todd Field drainage,
<br />Comm. #54l5, that was completed and paid for under the I.B. 1969 Con-
<br />struction Fund.

<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of
<br />Hastings on the 4th day of August, 1969, Peter lainetti Construction Co.
<br />having satisfactorily completed their share of the 1970 Improvement
<br />Program,
<br />
<br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
<br />of Hastings, Minnesota:

<br />The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and
<br />approved, and
