<br />1186 <br /> <br />Councilman Hallberg introduced the following resoIDution and <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING TERMS OF DAVIS-BACON ACT <br />IN CITY CONSTRUCTION WITH FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING FUNDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 25% or more of the cost of the City Public Works <br />Building and Public Safety Building, as well as future construction <br />may be paid from funds received from the Federal Government under <br />Title I of the State and Local Fiscal Assistance Act of 1972; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Act requires that the City under said cir- <br />cumstances must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act: <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> <br />That the City of Hastings shall, with reference to all <br />present and future construction where 25% or more of the cost there- <br />of is paid from funds received pursuant to the aforementioned State <br />and Local Fiscal Assistance Act of 1972, the City shall comply with <br />the Davis-Bacon Act; and <br /> <br />All contractors and sub-contractors involved in said con- <br />struction shall comply with said Davis-Bacon Act, and the City shall <br />advise the contractors and sub-contract of their requirements of <br />said Act. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />tv.'"' ~ <br /> <br />CIty erk <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted by the City Council <br /> <br />Councilman Kramer seconded the motion to adopt said resolu- <br />tion and the same was passed by the following vote. Ayes, all; Nays, <br />none. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman O'Connor, seconded by Councilman Wilson to <br />refer to the Planning Commission the request of St. John's Lutheran <br />Church for a sideyard setback variance under Section 9.15 of the City <br />Zoning Ordinance. Ayes, all; Nays, none. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Novak, seconded by Councilman Schnirring <br />to refer to the Planning Commission the Pre1!i.minary Plat of Dakota <br />Hills 4th Addition to the City of Hastings described as follows: <br />Ayes, all; Nays, none. <br /> <br />Outlots A, e, E, F, G, and H of Bauer's Second Addition <br />as of record. Outlots A, C, and D of Dakota Hills Second <br />Addition as of record. That part of the East one-half <br />of the Southeast one-quarter of Section 32, Township 115, <br />Range 17, lying southerly of Westview Drive, westerly of <br />Catholic Church property, northerly of Dakota Hills Third <br />Addition, and easterly of afore described Outlots in Dakota <br />Hills Second Addition. Approximately 44 acres including <br />previously platted streets. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman Novak, seconded by Councilman Schnirring <br />to approve the survey and appraisal of the Vermillion River Floodplain <br />and Park Area. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilman O'Connor, seconded by Councilman Kramer <br />to amend the motion to only approve the survey of the Vermillion River <br />Floodplain and Park Are~ thus deleting the appraisal.
