<br />approve the first reading to amend Section 1 of "AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE
<br />NET RATES TO BE CHARGED FOR GAS IN THE CITY OF HASTINGS, MINNESOTA, AND
<br />DETERMINING SAID RATES TO BE FAIR, REASONABLE AND JUST." Ayes, all; Nays,
<br />none.

<br />Moved by Councilman Novak, seconded by Councilman Hallberg to
<br />employ Rouche Ross and Company to perform an analysis of the Central Nat-
<br />ural Gas rate increase, said analysis to be outlined in the letter dated
<br />July 10, 1973, and that the cost so incurred be billed to Central Natural
<br />Gas Company pursuant to their agreement to pay said expense. Ayes, all;
<br />Nays, none.

<br />Moved by Councilman Kramer, seconded by Councilman Hallberg to
<br />approve the payment of $596.63 to Woog Brothers Construction Company for
<br />sidewalk construction located at the Senior High School along Vermillion
<br />Street as a replacement of the old sidewalk in accordance with the City
<br />Sidewalk and Emergency Fund. The City share being one half the total cost
<br />of construction. Ayes, all; Nays, none.

<br />Moved by Councilman Hallberg, seconded by Councilman Kramer to
<br />approve the payments of $1,259.00 for membership dues to the Metropolitan
<br />League of Municipalities and $850.00 for labor consulting fees to the League
<br />of Minnesota Municipalities. Ayes, all; Nays, none.

<br />Moved by Councilman Schnirring, seconded by Councilman Kramer to
<br />authorize the Commissioner of Administration to appraise by not less than
<br />three appraisers, the following described property:

<br />Commencing at the intersection of the southeasterly line of lot
