<br />City of Hastings NRRC Minutes <br />From 11/9/04 <br />6:00 PM <br /> <br />Meeting began at 6:00 PM with Roll Call: <br /> <br />Present Vieth, O'Melia, Becker, Popp, Sieben, Brown <br />Not present: Christenson and Vaughan <br />Mike Brown acted as chairperson for this meeting <br /> <br />Minutes were approved as submitted Motion by Sieben and seconded by Becker <br /> <br />Some additions were made to the agenda <br />Skating rink at Tuttle Park <br />Vennillion River Joint Powers draft plan <br /> <br />No open mike discussion <br /> <br />Skate Park: <br />Director Bernstein mentioned that he sent a letter to Middle School Principal <br />Zuzek to open up fonnal dialog about the possibility of moving the Skate Park to <br />the middle school. Ieaveifie- . <br />Pioneer Master Plan the way it is with the Skate Park located on the park master <br />plan for discussion purposes. Bernstein mentioned that the park and Recreation <br />Committee of Council would like to conduct a neighborhood meeting after the <br />holidays for the residents of Pioneer Park. There was discussion on what <br />residents would be notified. Bernstein said he will be working with staff at City <br />Hall to generate a mailing list. Bernstein anticipates bringing this list to the <br />December NRRC meeting. <br /> <br />NRRC members thought this was a good idea to gather input and feedback for the <br />residents surrounding Pioneer Park. <br /> <br />No action necessary <br /> <br />C') <br />
