Miller <br />Mayor Werner opened the public hearing at 7:01 p.m. <br />HRA Director Grossman stated that the City is required to conduct a public <br />hearing when considering a land crediUbusiness subsidy. Grossman stated that <br />applicant is seeking to relocate within the Industrial Park. <br />Hearing no further comment, Mayor Werner closed the public hearing at 7:03 <br /> <br />p.m. <br /> <br />Resolution-Site Plan #2006-11: Miller Electric (Enterprise Avenue) <br />Moved by Councilmember Moratzka, seconded by Councilmember Schultz to <br />approve the site plan as presented. <br />6 Ayes, Nays, None. <br />Copy of resolution on file. <br /> <br />Resolution-Authorize Execution of Agreements with Arthur G. Miller <br />Moved by Councilmember Hicks, seconded by Councilmember Moratzka to <br />approve the agreements as presented. <br />6 Ayes; Nays, none. <br /> <br />Public Hearing-Irrigation and RPZ Ordinance <br />Mayor Werner opened the public hearing at 7:08 p.m. <br />Public Works Director Montgomery stated that the amendments proposed would <br />allow the City to better track installation of lawn irrigation systems and proper installation <br />and maintenance. The changes would also require proper installation of meter and <br />backflow prevention systems for multi-family association lawn irrigation systems. <br />Mike Kilmer, stated he supports the proposed amendments, but would like the <br />City to require that licensed contractors install these systems as well as require <br />computerized reporting of the RPZ system to remove human error and the possibility of <br />forging documents. <br />Hearing no further comment, Mayor Werner closed the public hearing at 7:16 <br /> <br />p.m. <br /> <br />Second Reading and Ordinance Amendment-lrrigation and RPZ Ordinance <br />Staff was directed to add the public comments to the application process as <br />applicable, with further direction by the Operations Committee. <br />Moved by Councilmember Hicks, seconded by Council member Moratzka to <br />approve the ordinance amendment as presented. <br />6 Ayes; Nays, none. <br />Copy of ordinance on file. <br /> <br />Resolution-Adopting Irrigation Permit Fees <br />Moved by Councilmember Hicks, seconded by Councilmember Schultz to adopt <br />permit fees for installation permits at $75 for systems utilizing a 1-inch water meter or <br />smaller and $150 for systems using a water meter larger than two inches in size. <br />6 Ayes, Nays, None. <br />Copy of resolution on file. <br />
