Pay Estimate #8-Project 2005-1: Dakota Hills: Pember Companies, Inc.; <br />($28,778.18) <br /> <br />6 Ayes, Nays: None. <br />Copies of Resolutions on File <br /> <br />Authorize Signature for Industrial Park Covenants <br /> <br />Planning Director John Hinzman and City Attorney Shawn Moynihan provided <br />background information on this topic, as Gemstar/Gemini is proposing to construct a <br />facility in the Industrial Park, and these covenants would govern certain construction and <br />architectural standards for a certain area ofthe industrial park. City Attorney Shawn <br />Moynihan stated that Staffrecommends the covenants be in place for a period of 10 <br />years. Representatives from Gemini/Gemstar were present, and provided reasons for their <br />request that the covenants remain in place for a period of 30 years. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Schultz, seconded by Councilmember Hicks to <br />approve the covenants as presented by Staff with the 10 year provision included. <br /> <br />6 Ayes; Nays, None. <br /> <br />Utility Bill Fee Removal Request <br /> <br />Finance Director Char Stark provided background information on this topic, as <br />Mr. John Howe is requested removal of fees from a utility bill. <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Hicks, seconded by Councilmember Hazlet to deny <br />the request for removal ofthe fees from the utility bill. <br />6 Ayes, Nays, None <br />
