Constructing a handicapped access ramp on the back of the building. <br />6. Putting up a sign in the front yard which will be subject to review. <br />7. Fixing the front door. <br />8. Putting up a chimney to give the building its original appearance. <br /> <br />The Commission discussed how the building may not look right without a <br />chimney. Fabricating a fake chimney out of plywood and fake brick would be <br />acceptable. Grossman stated that they should have a plan for the chimney to <br />reVIew. <br /> <br />Commissioner St. James motioned and Siemens seconded the above eight items <br />with chimney plans contingent upon staff review. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Approval of the above items is in accordance with Residential Guidelines #2 <br />masonry walls and foundations, #6 roofs, chimneys, and dormers, #4 windows, <br />#5 entries, and porches and steps. <br /> <br />IV. Business. <br /> <br />V. Information and Reports <br /> <br />A. On Monday September 11 Ih a Committee met to discuss plans at 612 Vermillion <br />Street and at 213 Sibley Street. At 612 Vermillion Street the Committee approved <br />plans to pour new concrete footings and lay new limestone blocks down to match <br />the original appearance on the front steps. At 213 Sibley Street the Committee <br />approved plans to add windows to the front of the building where they originally <br />were and to re-light the marquee. <br /> <br />B.
