Hastings Planning Commission <br /> Meeting of July 27, 1992 <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Hastings Planning Commission was called <br />to order by Commissioner Reinardy at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: <br /> <br />Anderson, Bateman, Bolesworth, Mesaros and <br />Reinardy. <br /> <br />Commissioners Absent: Featherstone and Zender. <br /> <br />Staff Present: Community Development Director Wozniak <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />Commissioner Reinardy called for additions or <br />corrections to the minutes of the regular <br />meeting of May 25, 1992. There being no <br />amendments, the minutes were approved. <br /> <br />Commissioner Featherstone joined the meeting <br />at 7:05 p.m. <br /> <br />VARIANCE - SIDE <br />YARD SETBACK <br />950 Manor Ct. <br /> <br />Commissioner Featherstone moved, Commissioner <br />Mesaros made a second, to recommend denial of <br />the variance request of William Birkholz for <br />a side yard setback at 950 Manor Ct. <br /> <br />Upon vote taken, Ayes, 4; Nays, 2. <br /> <br />Commissioner Mesaros noted that the applicant <br />had constructed an 8 foot high fence without <br />being approved for a variance. <br /> <br />Commissioner moved that the applicant's request <br />for a variance to allow an 8 foot high privacy <br />fence be recommended for approval to City <br />Council, Commissioner Bolesworth made a <br />second. <br /> <br />Upon vote taken, Ayes, 6; Nays 0. <br /> <br />REZONE, PRELIM./ <br />FINAL PLAT, <br />SITE PLAN - <br />RIVERWOOD <br />TOWNHOMES NO. 3. <br /> <br />Commissioner Mesaros moved, Commissioner <br />Featherstone made a second, to recommend <br />approval of rezoning of that property to be <br />platted as Riverwood Townhomes No. 3., from <br />"A" Agriculture to "R-3" Planned Residential <br />Development. <br /> <br />Upon vote taken, Ayes, 6; Nay, 0. <br /> <br />Commissioner Mesaros moved, Commissioner <br />Featherstone made a second, to recommend <br />approval of the Riverwood Townhomes No. 3., <br />Preliminary Plat subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br /> <br />
