-3- Moved by Cormnissioner Wendler, seconded by Corcanis- sioner Reuter to reschedule the Lorenz and Nelson two family dwelling conversion special use permit requests to the March 28, 1983 Planning Commission Meeting. 7 Ayes, 0 Nayes. Moved by Commissioner Reuter, seconded by Commis- sioner Stevens to make a recommendation by writing the Commission choice on a ballot, with the voting members name included on the ballot, and the applicant with the most votes would win the recommendation. 6 Ayes, 0 Nayes Conmemius abstaining. On the first ballot a tie between Barbara Martin and Edith Kaiser resulted. A second ballot was taken, with Barbara Martin receiving the majority of votes. A copy of the ballots is on file. The Planning Commission's recommendation is to approve Barbara Martin for the Planning Commission vacancy. The Planner indicated that due the length of time that had passed since this was last acted on, a new recommendation should be passed. Moved by Commissioner Wendler, seconded by Commis- sioner Stevens to recommend the rezoning from A to R-5 (Mobile Home Park Zoning District) for the proposed Sonden Mobile Home Park property, as this proposal was consistent with the Hastings Comprehensive Plan. This is ~ubject to the development receiving a mobile home park permit, and going through the development review process. 7 Ayes, 0 Nayes.
