PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES <br /> <br />MONDAY 3UNE 28, 1976 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:0Z P.M. by Chairman Glennie. <br /> <br />Members Present: Chairman G. lennie, Walker, Peterson, Stark, Linde, Fischer <br /> and Stoffel; Kramer amd Latch arrived at 9:10 P.M. <br /> <br />Student Members Present: Fox and Kusseke <br /> <br />Student Members Absent: Stoneberg <br /> <br />The Planning Commission indicated that Commissioner APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Flscherts name had been omitted from the text of the <br />Minutes regarding a motion on the Red Owl issues.. <br />Moved by Cornrn[ssioner Linde, seconded by Com/-nissioner <br />Fischer to approve the June 14th, 1976 Plannimg Cornrnission <br />Minutes as arnended. 7 Ayes - 0 Nayes. <br /> <br />C®mmisstoner Stark reviewed his committees <br />recommendation on the home occupation request of <br />the Anderson's. The report indicated that the <br />petitioomer lacked the necessary off-street parking, <br />and therefore the petition should be denied. Some <br />neighbors from the area were present and indicated <br />that they were concerned about traffic on~ Walnut Street. <br />Cornnaissioner Fischer also indicated that the Andersoz~ts <br />planned to have the ceramics made off the premises which <br />is prehlbited by the home occupation ordina-ce. <br /> <br />HOME OCCUPATION - <br />JOHN ANDERSON - 2000 <br />WALNUT STREET <br /> <br />Meved by Commissioner Stark, seconded by <br />Corru/lissioner Peterson to deny the request <br />for a home occupation permit by John A~derson, <br />due to the fact that the request does not comply <br />with the City regulatioms. 6 Ayes - Linde l~ay. <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Fischer, seconded by <br />Commissioner Stark to request the City Council <br />to begin a study to determine how ma_my people <br />presently have home occupation without a permit, <br />and for those operations to either cease operation <br />or obtain the necessary permit. 6 Ayes - Walker Nay. <br /> <br /> <br />
