Planning C0mmt~si0n Minutes <br />June 14, 1976 <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner, seconae by <br />Commissioner Walker to refer to the City <br />Council, the Industrial Builders - Red Owl <br />proposal, recognizing the need for acquiring <br />and possibly condeming land; and a determination <br />by the Council as to whether or not they would <br />implement such a project if it is determined that <br />it is feasible. 8 ayes, 0naBs. <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Fischer, seconded by <br />Commlss~.oner Walker to deny the request for <br />rezoning at 1104 W. 8th St. (Hwy. 55), as requested <br />by Wagner Development Co., based on the fact <br />that it does not comply with the City's Comprehensive <br />Plan and such development at that location would create <br />traffic problems. Motion was withdrawn. <br /> <br />Mr. Crowley asked that the Wagner request to rezone <br />property for Red Owl be withdrawn. <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Fischer, seconded by <br />Commissioner Walker to recommend to the Council <br />that appropriate action be taken to implement the <br />ex~sting mobile home ordinance because Mr. Willis <br />Olson has had ample time to comply with the ordinance <br />and if the ordinance is not complied with, necessary <br />legal action should be taken. 6 ayes, Latch and <br />G[ennie - nay. <br /> <br />MOBILE HOME <br />ORDINANCE - WILLIS <br />OLSON PROPOSAL <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Kramer, seconded by <br />Commissioner Stoffel, to refer to a Committee the <br />Mobile Home Ordinance for further study. <br />8 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />Chairman Gtennie referred the item to the Kramer Committee. <br /> <br />Mrs. Anderson was present and indicated that they <br />would like to devote a portion o[ one the bedrooms <br />to the sale of ceramics. The ceramics would be <br />made off the prenxises. The item was referred to <br />the Stark Committee. <br /> <br />HOME OCCUPATION <br />PERMIT ~ JOHN <br />ANDERSON- 2000 <br />WALNUT STREET <br /> <br />Mr. McNamara has submitted an application for a <br />variance for the construction of a garagewhich <br />would be 6.5 feet from his property line as opposed <br />to 10 feet. A variance would also be required from <br />Section 10.05 of the Zoning Code requiring that a clear <br />vision area be maintained at all intersection.
