Further because the street would not go any-
where but would be a dead end. Sonteg further stated that he did not ~ht~
the _~_h-,_roughfare from 15th would or should go through the residential area.

It was concluded that Fischer should set up a meeting with the school board
and council and pl~-n4nS commission to discuss the street layout~ as weel as
other matters involving both hodies.

The petition of Gordon Oehrlein was next commented on. He is requesting
~t arrangements be made to allow operation of ~' netghborhobd grocery
store at the former Truax Grocery Store location. It was moved by Fischer,
seconded by Bauer, and -,~a-_~mously carried,, that the matter be referred
to the Council for hearing on the speciul use permit and that the petitioner
be requested to circulate a petition in the neighborhood to ~e'tern~tne the
general attitude of the area.
