<br />Commissioner Simacek asked how far off of the building the zoning ordinance allows <br />projecting signs. Fortney said downtown they are allowed 2.5’ and other places are allowed <br />4’. <br /> <br />Simacek asked what the requirements are for anchoring the sign. Fortney said they are <br />required to install anchors in the mortar when it is possible. <br /> <br />A motion by LaBreck to approve the sign made of wood, metal, or canvas, seconded by <br />Simacek; motion carried. <br /> <br />A motion by Martin to add the following conditions, seconded by Wittgenstein; motion <br />carried. <br /> <br /> <br /> Projection of 2.5’ or less <br /> <br /> Similar design as existing monument sign <br /> <br /> Only anchor in mortar when possible <br /> <br /> <br />IV.
