All special use permit applications shall be accompanied"by a land use <br />application. <br /> <br />B. Special use permit applications shall be submitted to the Department of <br />Natural Resources in accordance with Subd. 3 of this section. <br /> <br />C. Applications for special use permits shall be administered in accordance <br />with the procedures in Chapter 10 Land Use Requlations (Zoninq) of the <br />Code of Ordinances and reviewed in accordance with Minnesota Statutes <br />462.357. <br /> <br />4.2 Evaluation criteria. A thorouqh evaluation of the waterbody and the <br />topoaraphic. veaetation. and soils conditions on the site must be made to <br />ensure: <br /> <br />A. the prevention of soil erosion or other possible pollution of public <br />waters. both durina and after construction: <br /> <br />B. the visibilitv of structures and other facilities as viewed from public <br />waters is limited: <br /> <br />C. the site is adequate for water supply and on-site sewaqe treatment: <br />and <br /> <br />D. the types. uses. and numbers of watercraft that the proiect will . <br />aenerate are compatible in relation to the suitability of public waters <br />to safely accommodate these watercraft. <br /> <br />4.3 Conditions attached to special use permits. Conditions may be imposed in <br />the arantina of a special use permit to insure compliance. protect adiacent <br />properties and the public interest. and to fulfill the purposes of this <br />ordinance. Such conditions may include. but are not limited to. the followina: <br /> <br />A. Increased setbacks from the ordinary hiah water level: <br /> <br />B. Limitations on the natural veaetation to be removed or the <br />requirement that additional veaetation be planted: and <br /> <br />C. Special provisions for the location. desiqn. and use of structures. <br />sewaae treatment systems. watercraft launchina and dockina <br />areas. and vehicle parkina areas. <br />
