<br />Survey Inspections <br /> <br />Final Grade Inspection <br /> <br />.> ~ "" <br /> <br />The City shall require a final grade inspection. The final grade inspection fee is $125 and will be <br />charged with the issuance of the construction permit. <br /> <br />A final grade inspection will be required prior to issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy. The <br />final grade inspection shall verify the lot corner elevations, breakpoints, critical areas, swales, <br />ponds, etc. The final grade inspection shall be performed. after the hardsurface driveway and <br />required trees are complete. but prior to the lot being sodded. <br /> <br />Final Grade Inspection Process <br /> <br />. At the time the builder schedules the final inspection, the building department will inform the <br />consulting firm used for surveying inspections that final grade inspection needs to be done. <br />. The City's consulting firm will conduct the final grade inspection within 2 business days of <br />being notified by the Building Dept. <br />. Tolerances for final grade inspections are as follows: <br />. 0.2 feet up or down where there are minimum grades for critical swales. <br />. The City's consulting firm will inform the building dept if the final grade inspection passes <br />or fails. <br />. If the site passes inspection, work may continue on the project. <br /> <br />Final grade failed inspection process <br /> <br />. The City's consulting firm will notify the Building Department of the failure and include the <br />reasons for the failure. The Building Department will then inform the builder of the failed <br />inspection. <br />. Builder must take corrective action and call for are-inspection. <br />. Any variations outside these tolerances will require corrective action by the Builder, and may <br />require the original subdivision engineer to revise the development grading plan to correct <br />drainage issues. <br />. A new certificate of survey may have to be submitted. <br /> <br />Re-Inspection Fee <br /> <br />. The fee to re-inspect a property is $125.00. The fee must be paid prior to any further <br />inspections by the City's consulting firm or a Certificate of Occupancy being issued for the <br />property. <br /> <br />13 <br />
