~ STORM SEWER- Some catch basins on Westview Drive, 22nd and 23cd Streets,
and Hilltop Lane will have to be relocated and replaced with the narrowing of
these streets. Other sections of the storm sewer system will be upgraded and
extended to meet current City standards.

);> SANITARY SEWER & WATER - Sanitarv sewer mains and water mains will be
replaced on 1 ih Street due to a history 'of problems with these systems on tills
street. Service to homes on this street will also be replaced within the right of
way. A sanitary sewer main line will also be constructed on Westview Drive
between 18th Street and just north of 15th Street to re-route a large amount of
sewage flow from existing main lines running around and through the Valley
Lane neighborhood, to an existing trunk main.

);> BITUMINOUS TRAIL - The Comprehensive Plan calls for a trail to be constructed
along Westview Drive. The proposed 8 ft. wide bituminous trail would link with
the existing Southvicw Drive trail and connect to the 15th Street sidewalk

);> STREET VACATION - The cul-de-sac at the end of Hilltop Lane is constructed
mostly outside of right of way, encroaching onto Hastings Country Club property.
Crest Lane, the main entrance to the Country Club, is platted as a City street but
serves private property. Staff is recommending that Council vacate Crest Lane
and the stub right of way of Hilltop Lane that connects to Crest Lane. The
proposed reconstruction plans would remove the cul-de-sac at the end of Hilltop
Lane, construct a berm at the new terminus of the street and place topsoil and
seed the cul-de-sac area.

\
111'.'4'

_~ VVO _L
Pl't..... c.., O~ Cto.-...c..s
0,... si"'~I~ cho,.J..

CLUr.
\iOU5E

I "
I ~
~~I 1
~~~- -----
BLOGK~ ~I\
THREE 1~
~~
..",
i~1
~,
,t - - - - - -- -
I
10
I::
~I,
~fr - -- T - --
-- --- J t~. +:::
;,,;;
[1'--- ---
aUl LOT
Ng Z
1
I ,.
M-__c.,1..r-
u.
':i: I ~
\.~ ' ,
OUTLOT
M" 5
"__'.4 _~ ___..
_._.___.__u-
----
.,
