1150 Councilman Driscoll introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION RECEIVING PRELIMINARY REPORT AND SETTING PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, a preliminary report has been prepared by the City Engineer with respect to the improvement described in the Notice of Hearing hereinafter set forth, and l WHEREAS, said Engineers have advised this Council that the aforesaid improvement is feasible and should be made as proposed in the Notice of Hearing thereon, and WHEREAS, the Council considers it expedient to made the follow- ing listed improvements, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hastings, Minnesota, as follows: 1. Said Feasibility Reports are hereby accepted and approved. 2. Said Improvements are hrerby combined and designated 1973 Improvements and shall be undertaken pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes 1961. 3. A Public Hearing relative to said improvements will be held on March 5, 1973 at 7:00 o'clock P.M. in the Council Cham- bers of the City Hall for the consideration of said improve- ments, the nature of which, the estimated cost thereof, the area proposed to be assessed therefore, are described in the Notice of Hearing which shall be in substantially the following form and is made a part thereof. r I l Notice is hereby given that the Ctiy Council of the City of Hastings, Minnesota, will meet in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:00 o'clock P.M. on Monday, March 5, 1973 to consider the following im- provements designated Improvements 1973: PROPOSAL I BITUMINOUS SURFACING CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER AND SIDEWALK 1. Hillside Court and View Court within Dakota Hills 2nd Addition- Concrete Curb, Gutter and Bituminous Surfacing. 2. East side of Spring Street between 17th and 18th Streets - Sidewalk Construction. 3. West side of Pine Street, T.H. 55 to 15th Street - Sidewalk Construction. PROPOSAL II SANITARY SEWER, LIFT STATIONS, WATERMAIN, STORM SEWER, STREET GRADING AND GRAVEL BASE l 1. Highland Hills 1st Addition and 15th Street west from Brittany Ro~d - Grading and Base, Sanitary Sewer, Watermain, and Storm Sewer. 2. North Frontage Road west from Pleasant Drive - Grading and Base and Storm Sewer. 3. 1/16 Section Line along North Line of Dakota County Court House property and Imperial Estates west from Pleasant Drive - Grading and Base, Sanitary Sewer, Watermain and Storm Sewer. 4. North-South Street within Outlot E and part of Pleasant Drive within Imperial Estates 1st Addition - Grading and Base, Watermain and Storm Sewer.
