planning Commission Meet[n~ _N, ovember ZZ, 1976 <br /> <br />The Commission indicated this motion was passed on <br />the assumption that the Mobile Home Ordinance ~vill be <br />modified so that Mobile Home Parks will be a special <br />use in an R-4 Zoning District as per the recommended <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />The Planning Director reviewed the proposed ordinance <br />for Mobile Home Parks dated 10/22/76. The Commission <br />agreed to amend the following sections of the proposed <br />ordinance: E "...no Mobile Home shall occupy more <br /> than 20-25% of a lot..." <br /> <br /> 3J (3) "... the park shall comply with this <br /> chapter by' within six months of passage <br /> by the City Council..." <br /> <br /> JJ (4) Eliminate this section <br /> <br /> 3J (5) "... Any existin~ Mobile Home Park <br /> will be rezoned to an R-4 zonir{g_c~assif[cation. <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner ]Fischer, seconded by Commissioner <br />V~ralker to approve the Mobile Home Ordinance modification <br />as amended. 9 Ayes ,- 0 Nays. <br /> <br />The Planning Director informed the Commission that <br />at the next meeting, the Midtown Redevelopment proposal <br />%vill be discussed. By law the Planning Commission <br />must comment on any redevelopment plan. The planner <br />indicated that the HRA was hopeful that the Council .would <br />have an opportunity to create the district prior to the end <br />of the year and in order to do so the Planning Commission <br />must review, and submit their 'comments to the Council <br />the conclusion of their next meeting. The Comrn[ssion <br />asked that a previous staff report on Midtoavn be forwarded <br />to the Commission for them toreview. <br /> <br />Commissioner Kramer left the Council Chambers at 9:47 <br /> ; <br /> <br />Two representatives of Midcontinent Cooperation were <br />in the audi~nce and they requested that the planning <br />Commission approve their application for a footing <br />and foundat[onpermit prior to compliance ~ith all <br />the requirements listed in the Site Plan Review Pro- <br />cedure.
